History – Kagami was traveling with his family on vaction and heading back to his homeworld when they were attacked by the pirates. His parents were killed outright for resisting. And he and his brothers were taking to live in the nest because they were all young. He spent most of his time in the nest till he was old enough to move in with the older slaves. Over the years both his brothers being older moved out of the nest before him and fate had it that they meet their end at the hands of the pirates shortly afterwards. Though he doesn’t know how they died or why he just knows they disappeared from the nest and moved up before him and he never saw them again. He though when he moved up he would of seen them but they weren’t there any more. Now he just tries to keep his head down and avoid the fate of the rest of his unlucky family.

Kogami's eyes were drawn to it as he saw cracks appear along the sides as the first bit of hide showed through the side of the cracking egg as more pieces broke loose and fell to the ground.
The little dragon head finally pushed out threw the top as in response to the humming her little green head poked out from the shell and she gave a indigent chirp of frustration as she tumbled from the shell encasing her body. She rose up on shaking legs and hissed at one of the guards moving by as she wobbled slowly toward the crowd of people standing around the eggs. She looked around and chirped quite loudly this time finding her voice and moved forward finally with purpose even though she still wobbled about getting used to her legs. She moved to one the boys and sat down on her back-legs looking up expectantly. Kogami's eyes lite up in pure amazement and a bit of disbelief even as he repeats the words out loud. “She says her name is Edith"
