History - Draye is an unwanted and forgotten child of a green rider and a drudge from her home Weyr. Her mother passed away in child birth and her father never really took in an interest in her. This did not prevent Draye from becoming a rider in her own right. She eventually had an affair with a married man, had his son, and promptly forgot the entire charade. Draye is proud of her son however they are rather distant from one another.
