History - Aleva is Weyr bred. The daughter of a Brownrider and the previous Headwoman, she grew up around people, flits and dragons. She grew up at Ista Weyr, and when she learned that Star Stone Weyr was needing a Headwoman, she applied for the position. Given a trial shot at it, her father took her to the Western Continent, and with a couple of exceptions, she has been there ever since. The exceptions were the deaths of her parents, due to old age.
After being at Star Stone for a year, Aleva met and fell in love with Skot. They were married a few months later.
The couple were happy together, and after being together a year, were expecting their first child. Alas, it was not to be. Aleva miscarried. She would miscarry two more times before the couple gave up the idea of ever having children. Instead, they would help foster children born to the various dragonriders of the Weyr, which was Skot's idea. Aleva liked the idea.
