History - Deshin was one of two pernese babies looked after by a distracted FSP medical officer. Her parents were told they were expecting twin boys and that planetside life would be best for their development. Ultimately, nature won out when the twins were born and her parents had one of each. Merchandise remains expensive to natives and Deshin wore what she was given. Not that it mattered. Deshin was apt to crawl around as soon as she could though she rarely smiled and her carefully planned responses were always to late to garner the 'oohs' of anyone who 'awed' over babies.
Not that mattered. Deshin was more fascinated with music and sound then she was with the toys her father lovingly carved for the twins.
Deshin also liked to surprise her brother at any given moment, not that it always went her way, but she tried. One incident involved her telling him she had been Searched and was going to the Weyr without him....
Deshin later decided becoming a harper would be much better for her as she never forgot her brothers reactions to her fibs and stories.
